Investments

GMA Capital Partners Pte Ltd invests its own capital across selected public and private market opportunities. The Company’s activities include equity investments, fixed income and debt securities, direct investments and structured finance. Each investment is reviewed with regard to value, risk, liquidity, legal form, counterparty standing and exit alternatives.

Equity Investments

The Company invests in listed and unquoted equity securities, including minority holdings and selected special situations. Investments are reviewed by reference to business quality, financial position, valuation and liquidity. Positions may be held for income, capital appreciation or participation in corporate development.

Fixed Income and Debt Securities

GMA Capital Partners considers bonds, notes and other debt securities where the issuer, maturity profile, ranking and terms can be assessed with reasonable clarity. Particular attention is given to credit standing, source of repayment, security and yield in relation to risk. The Company does not rely on headline yield alone.

Direct Investments

The Company may invest directly in private companies and negotiated transactions. Such investments are considered where commercial prospects, governance rights, valuation and exit alternatives can be understood before capital is committed. GMA Capital Partners favours situations where its position and rights are clearly documented.

Structured Finance

GMA Capital Partners reviews structured finance opportunities, including convertible securities, preference shares, mezzanine instruments and secured notes. These investments are assessed by reference to ranking, covenants, collateral, cash-flow coverage and documentation. The Company seeks structures that provide protection appropriate to the risk while preserving participation in value creation.
